“ Four of us visited Nam Ploy last evening. The staff, especially May, were very attentive and couldn't do enough for us. They had a singer on along with a magician . The food is fairly priced and absolutely delicious, also very deceptive in ... ”
“ Went there before a Bolton Wanderers game. Nice food and a good selection of beers. There is a restaurant area and a separate bar area. Gets busy on a match day and there are TV screens showing live games. Pleasant place and pleasant staff. ”
“ We took our German relatives to this restaurant and they really enjoyed it. The atmosphere was excellent. The magician and singer were a lovely touch. We had duck, vegetable and chicken spring rolls, all crisp and tasty. The cashew chicken was so tasty with coconut rice and noodles. My nice had a vegetarian dish with cashews which was a green Thai coconut dish, very nice. The ice cream was very good too. We will definitely be there again. ”
“ Our first visit. 2x menus, the main and a lunch time menu. We tried the lunch time menu which was 15 per person for a starter and a main dish. A good mix of dishes to try. Good tasty food and great service. Now need to visit again to try other dishes. ”
“ Excellent food at this venue, Thai red curry was amazing tender and cooked perfectly. Our waiters both Raj and Marina where both very pleasant polite and professional. Great experience from start to finish there was even a magician doing card tricks briefly on our table before we ate. All round brilliant place 5 stars and deservedly so ”
“ Mothers day meal - the food was so tasty fresh and value for money. The atmosphere is so lovely and they also have a live singer and a magician who adds to the nights entertainment and experience. Marina the waitress was absolutely amazing, she was polite, friendly and attentive. Nothing was too much trouble she made us feel very welcome, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. WILL BE BACK! Thank You! ”
“ Food was lovely and staff were helpful but not mithering at the same time ”
“ Have never been here before, and first impressions..? Wish I lived closer! Although it's probably a good job I don't Both myself and the OH had never been for "Thai" before, but we both loved the food. I have some allergies so had to ask about the food, the staff were lovely and friendly, explaining or going to find out for us was no problem. The food was AMAZING. I've had Thai Green and Red curry before, but never seen a Yellow. It's a very mild one, so the OH tried a chicken one (he can't do spicy). It came with onions and potatoes in it and is coconut milk based. He said it had a little bit of zing to it, but was lovely. He'd have it again. I had the Thai Green, which was a little spicier than I've had before but I really enjoyed it. The rice is served in little round dishes, which are deceptive in size, you actually get a good size portion in them! We had the duck spring rolls and chicken parcels for starters, which were beautifully presented. They even made carrot flowers as garnish. Tasted as good as they looked. We spent just 70 for the 2 of us, including drinks, so about average. Lastly I just wanted to say the atmosphere was great, there was a live lounge singer walking around, doing happy birthdays etc and singing a range of jazz and soul songs. Was a lovely touch. ”
